Coastal Virginia Young Republican Club — Terms of Service

These terms apply to covayoungrepublicans.com and to all tickets, membership dues, merchandise and contributions purchased or made through it. The site is operated by the Coastal Virginia Young Republican Club ("CoVA YRs," "the Club," "we"), 2955 Virginia Beach Blvd, Suite 105, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. By using the site or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are. The Club is a volunteer-run social and political club chartered by the Young Republican Federation of Virginia and part of the Young Republican National Federation. The Club does not donate to candidates.

2. Membership. Membership runs for one year from your join date. Dues are set by the Executive Board under the Club bylaws. Active membership is for registered Virginia voters ages 18–40 who live, work or study in Virginia Beach or Norfolk. Associate and Alumni memberships are non‑voting. By paying dues you confirm the information you give us is accurate. The Club may verify eligibility, and it may decline, reclassify or end a membership as its bylaws allow. Membership is personal and not transferable.

3. Event tickets and RSVPs. A ticket or RSVP admits the named buyer and the number of guests purchased. Member pricing and free member RSVPs are for members in good standing, and membership may be checked at the door. We may change an event's date, time, venue, speakers or program. If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, see our Refund Policy. Admission is at the Club's and venue's discretion.

4. Conduct. Attendees must follow the law, venue rules and reasonable instructions from Club officers and venue staff. We may refuse entry or remove anyone for harassment, threats, disorderly conduct or behavior that endangers others, without refund.

5. Alcohol. Where alcohol is served, you must be 21 or older with valid ID. Drink responsibly and do not drive impaired. Venues and bartenders may refuse service.

6. Photos and media. Club events may be photographed or filmed. By attending, you permit the Club to use images and recordings of the event, which may include you, on its website, social media and promotional materials. If you'd rather not appear, tell an officer at the event, or email us to have a specific image taken down.

7. Contributions. Contributions are voluntary and are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes. By contributing, you confirm that you are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident, that you are at least 18, and that the contribution comes from your own funds (or your business's), not from another person, and won't be reimbursed. Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited. As required by Virginia law, we collect and may report the name, address, occupation and employer of contributors whose contributions total more than $100.

8. Merchandise. Merchandise such as chapter pins is picked up at the next Club event unless we arrange otherwise. Quantities are limited.

9. Payments. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its payment partners, and the Club never sees or stores your full card number.

10. Site content. Event listings from other organizations (for example, city Republican committees) are provided for convenience. Confirm details with the host. Links to other sites are not endorsements of every item on those sites. Mentioning a candidate or official doesn't mean they authorized this site. The Club stays neutral in Republican primaries and nominating contests, as its bylaws require.

11. Limitation of liability. The site and events are provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, the Club, its officers and volunteers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. You attend events at your own risk.

12. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

13. Changes. We may update these terms, and the "last updated" date shows when. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
